Help Make the NSP Colorado License Plate a Reality

If you haven’t already heard, we have been approved by the State of Colorado to gather petition signatures to get a National Ski Patrol license plate for the State of Colorado.

So…let’s go get signatures, please!  We need you to help by printing this sheet (Click to Open) to collect signatures. Yes, hard-copy.  Time to get 3,500 signatures (we want cushion). 20 signatures per page…so….175 pages/sheets.

  1. Signers need to be 18 years old, at least.
  2. Signers need to be a Colorado resident entering a Colorado address on the form.
  3. Please stress legibility: it’ll help us get this through the State process, faster.
  4. P.O. Boxes are not considered valid addresses.

You are the first group the form is going to.  We can do collection of the signed sheets in person, or via postal-mail to me (address below).

Bring the form to your patrol meetings, your patrol room, we’re going to talk to a few areas about having the form available at their base areas and I know there’s a shop in Evergreen willing to help out (so I’ve heard…)..so, let’s go! You don’t have to be a patroller to sign the petition.

You are all awesome. You all have friends in other patrols not copied on this email: Please send this email to them so they can help.

The form should have the following info written on the top:

Proposed Group Special License Plate Name: National Ski Patrol

Nonprofit Name: Rocky Mountain Division – National Ski Patrol

No need to number the pages at the bottom, I’ll handle that as we collect the completed forms

License plate will have the NSP logo in the middle.

Tag line for the license plate will be, Support Ski Patrollers.”  —> This license plate message is about Patrollers, not simply, “patrol.” It is about YOU.

Ask is to push to get signatures before December 1 so we can have this to the State in early December so we’ll ideally have it approved by the State Legislature in January. Sooner = better!!!

This is one way for us to show how much the ski patrollers of Colorado are how the public see us: one incredible team.

Please let me know any questions and thank you for your participation and support!!

Thanks,
Mark Adams
